W Punta Cana Adult All Inclusive

We were there from April 12th to 19th. We traveled as a couple. Our room had a tropical view. The room was clean, but the shower was a bit of a letdown. The mini-bar was restocked daily. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and it was quiet and perfect in every way. The resort is at the far end of town, so we were the last to get off the bus, which took over an hour, I'd say. Many people were there for corporate events, weddings, etc. Regarding language: few staff members speak French, if any at all. There are two pools, the Chill and the Wet Deck. The Wet Deck includes the infinity pool, which is slightly colder than the others, but it has a jacuzzi area at the far end. There's a serious lack of umbrellas, and some of the lounge chairs aren't comfortable. People put their towels out early in the morning, and a staff member cleans the pool after two hours of inactivity. This pool is noisy; there's a DJ, and the music is loud. There's also entertainment and activities, and the bar and restaurants are right there. Below this restaurant/pool, there's another restaurant at beach level, TAMAN, which is very good, especially the PICANHA (steak/beef). There's a small pickleball court, a ping-pong table, and a beach volleyball court. The chill pool is quiet, but there aren't enough parasols yet. It has two areas: a jacuzzi area with hot water and jets, and another area with perfect temperate water. The restrooms are a little further away, either in the lobby or at the wet deck pool. On Saturday at lunchtime, there were no towels left at all; it was the first time in six days that there had been a shortage. On the beach side, it's rocky between the chairs, but the sand is soft when you're in the water, making it easy to walk barefoot. The bathroom is very close to the beach. A major drawback: there are horseback riding excursions on the beach, but the horses leave droppings that aren't collected like in Old Quebec, which likely attracts mosquitoes and/or sand fleas. We didn't swim because the water was contaminated. All the restaurants are excellent. The lunch and dinner buffets were also perfect. The rooms are cold, so you have to use the air conditioning a lot. It's a luxurious and secure resort (security cameras everywhere). All the activities are on the Marriott Experience app, and there are many. The menus and restaurant options—vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free, etc.—are all clearly indicated. The gym is superb, and there's a hair salon/beauty parlor, spa, sauna, and an amazing bistro/café. It was a wonderful trip for us, but the beach quality disappointed us because of the horses. Otherwise, it would have been perfect.

Nous étions la du 12 au 19 avril. voyage en couple. chambre vue tropicale. chambre propre mais douche....un bémol. frigo-bar rempli chaque jour.
lit ultra confortable , calme et parfaite en tout point.
le complexe est à l'extrémité donc le dernier à débarquer de l'autobus, donc plus d'un heure je dirais. Beaucoup était présent pour le corporatif , mariage etc
Côté langue : peu de personnel voir rare parle français.
Il y a deux piscine, la Chill et la Wet dek. la Wet-dek contient la piscine a débordement, légèrement plus froide que les autres, mais elle a une zone jaccuzzi au fond, Il manque littéralement de parasol , et certaines chaises longues ne sont pas confortable. Les gens placent leurs serviettes tôt le matin, un certain ménage se fait par une employé quand ca fait deux heures que personne n'y s'est installé. Cette piscine est bruyante, il y a un dj la musique est forte. il y a aussi de l'animation et des activités, bar et restaurants directement . Sous ce restaurant/piscine, il y a un autre restaurant qui se trouve au niveau de la plage, le TAMAN , très bon surtout le PICANHA ( steak/boeuf)
il y a un petit terrain de Pickeball, une table de ping pong un terrain de volley ball de plage.
La piscine Chill est calme, il y a encore pas assez de parasol. elle possède 2 zones , zone jaccuzi avec eau chaude et jet. et l'autre partie, eau tempéré parfaite, la toilette est un peu plus loin. soit au lobby soit a la piscine wet dek .
le samedi midi, il n'y avait plus de serviette du tout ce fut la première fois en 6 jour qu'il y avait un manque.
coté plage, c'est rocailleux entre les chaises mais les pieds dans l'eau le sable est doux il est facile de marcher nu pieds de long en large. Salle de bain très près de la plage.
Gros bémol: il y a des excursions à chevaux, qui se promènent sur la plage, mais ceux-ci émettent des excréments sans que ca soit récolter comme dans le vieux-québec, cela attirent probablement les moustiques et/ou les puces de sables. on ne s'est pas baigner pour cette raisons que l'eau était contaminé.
Tous les restaurants sont excellents. le buffet pour le déjeuner et diner étaient parfait également.
les chambres sont froides, ils faut jouer avec A/C,
c'est un complexe luxueux et sécuritaire ( caméra de sécurité partout ).
toutes les activités sont sur l'application MarriotExperience, il y en a beaucoup. les menus ,les restaurants: végé , sans gluten, sans lactose etc tout est bien indiqué. La salle d'entrainement est superbe, il y a salon de coiffure/ esthétique, spa sauna , café bistro incroyable.
C'était un très beau voyage pour nous. mais la qualité de la plage nous a déçu à cause des chevaux. sinon elle aurait été parfaite pour nous.
