Egypt, Cairo and the Nil cruises

You flight from Montreal to Cairo, with a stop.

Arrival at Cairo International Airport, where you will be met by our French-speaking representative, who will assist with arrival formalities and handle your luggage.
Transfer to the 4-star Cairo Pyramids Park Hotel (or a similar property). Check-in and dinner at the hotel, depending on your arrival time.

A day dedicated to the Giza Plateau. Explore the pyramids—the most famous monuments of ancient Egypt—followed by the Sphinx, which keeps watch over the necropolis.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (drinks not included). Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum to discover its collections and the revitalized presentation of Pharaonic heritage. Return to the hotel at the end of the day.

Visit the Citadel of Saladin and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, whose silhouette dominates the city. This stop offers an insight into the medieval history of Cairo and provides a sweeping panoramic view of the capital.
Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant (drinks not included). Stroll through the Khan el-Khalili bazaar, amidst lively alleyways, shops, and artisanal crafts. Return to the hotel.

Transfer to the airport and domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the pier to embark on the 5-star (standard) *Symphony Nile Cruise* or a similar vessel.
After settling into your cabins, your seven-night cruise will begin. Depending on arrival times and the vessel’s operational schedule, an initial visit to Luxor may be arranged.

Return to the ship, dinner on board, and continuation of the voyage southward.

Visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus and remarkably well-preserved. The voyage continues toward Kom Ombo to explore the double temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris.
Return on board and sail toward Aswan.

A day of discovery in Aswan, featuring the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk in the ancient granite quarries, and the Temple of Philae—rescued from the rising waters and reconstructed on the island of Agilkia.
A felucca ride rounds off the exploration of Aswan. Return to the ship and overnight on board.

Early morning departure by coach for Abu Simbel. Visit the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari, which were relocated as part of a major international operation to preserve them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.
Return to Aswan and the ship. Full board on board; drinks not included.

Disembark in Luxor after breakfast. Transfer by coach to Hurghada, on the Red Sea coast.
Check in to the Sentido World or a similar property for a two-night stay on an all-inclusive basis. The rest of the day is at leisure.

A free day to enjoy the beach and the hotel’s facilities. Optional activities available on-site are not included, unless otherwise specified.
Second night in Hurghada on an all-inclusive basis.

Transfer to Hurghada Airport and domestic flight to Cairo. Meet and greet, followed by a transfer to the Baron Hotel Heliopolis or a similar property.
Check in for a final night in Cairo. Dinner at the hotel.

Transfer to Cairo International Airport, departure assistance, and end of services.
