• Due to baggage restrictions on the high-speed train scheduled on days 7 and 14, your main luggage will be transferred directly to your destination in advance. It is therefore recommended to bring a small carry-on bag with your essential personal items for the periods without access to your luggage (maximum of 2 days).
• Please also note that it will be winter during this time of year, so warm clothing is required.
• A minimum of 15 participants is required to guarantee the optional excursions.

Jour 1 : Departure to Japan on an international flight from Montreal to Tokyo.
Day 2 - Arrival at Narita Airport in the late afternoon. Meet your guide and transfer to your hotel in Tokyo. Check-in and enjoy a free evening to explore the surroundings at your own pace.
Day 3 : Full-day exploration of Tokyo. Visit the peaceful Meiji Shrine, followed by the vibrant districts of Harajuku and Shibuya, including its famous crossing. Continue to the historic district of Asakusa and visit Senso-ji Temple. In the afternoon, take part in a traditional tea ceremony experience. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 4 : Departure for an excursion to the Nikko region, known for its natural beauty and cultural heritage. Explore the area of Kinugawa Onsen, famous for its hot springs, and visit historical and scenic sites, including a memorial park. Free time during the day before returning to Tokyo in the evening.
Day 5 : Free day to explore Tokyo at your own pace. Discover new neighborhoods, enjoy shopping, or try local cuisine.
Optional excursion ($) :
Discover the former capital of the samurai on this cultural excursion to Kamakura. Visit the famous Great Buddha of Kotoku-in (entrance fee payable on site) and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, before enjoying free time on Komachi Street for lunch. 120$ per passenger
Day 6 : Departure towards the Mount Fuji region. Visit the traditional village of Oshino Hakkai, then enjoy scenic viewpoints (weather permitting). Experience a cruise on Lake Kawaguchi, a ropeway ride, and a stop at Oishi Park. Check-in at a traditional ryokan and enjoy an onsen experience. Traditional Japanese dinner included.
Day 7 : Travel to Matsumoto and visit its iconic castle, a designated national treasure. Discover the historic Kaichi School, then continue to Kanazawa by train.
Day 8 - Explore the cultural city of Kanazawa. Visit Omicho Market, stroll through the historic Higashi Chaya District, and discover a traditional samurai residence. Visit Kenroku-en Garden, considered one of Japan’s most beautiful gardens.
Day 9 - Departure to Kyoto with a stop at the traditional craft village Yunokuni no Mori. Lunch on site. Continue by train to Kyoto and visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple, offering panoramic views of the city.
Day 10 - Full-day tour of Kyoto’s highlights. Visit Fushimi Inari Shrine with its thousands of torii gates, the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Tenryu-ji Temple, and the iconic Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion).
Day 11 : Free day to continue exploring Kyoto.
Optional excursion ($) :
- Set out to discover the Wazuka region, renowned for its beautiful tea plantations. Enjoy an introduction to Japanese tea culture and free time to explore the fields or take part in optional on-site activities. Free time for lunch. 100$ per passenger
Day 12 : Travel to Nara, Japan’s first capital. Visit Nara Park and Todai-ji Temple. Continue to Osaka and enjoy a panoramic view from the Umeda Sky Building.
Day 13 : Full day exploring Osaka. Visit Osaka Castle, then Osaka Tenmangu Shrine. Walk along Tenjinsujibashi Shopping Street, one of Japan’s longest shopping arcades, and explore Kuromon Market, known for its street food. End the day in the vibrant district of Dotonbori.
Day 14 : Free morning to enjoy Osaka at your leisure. In the afternoon, travel to Tokyo by Shinkansen high-speed train, a must-do Japanese experience. Arrival and hotel check-in.
Optional excursion ($) :
- Explore one of Japan’s oldest hot spring resorts, nestled in the mountains of Kobe. Enjoy free time to discover the charming village of Arima Onsen and experience an authentic Japanese tradition. Free time for lunch. $100 per passenger.
Day 15 : Final free day in Tokyo to enjoy the city, go shopping, or revisit your favorite spots.
Day 16 : Transfer to Narita Airport and return flight to Montreal, with unforgettable memories of your journey.
