Stopping Time

Compostela is not just a hike; it is a human experience, a chance to slow down, clear your mind, and disconnect from daily life. It is a rendezvous with yourself, a break from routine that makes you reflect and grow. It is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and see life from a different perspective.

Take on a New Challenge!

Have you already walked the Camino Francés from León to Santiago de Compostela, or are you looking to take part in a new life-changing experience?
Join our group and experience the most legendary section of the route: the crossing of the Pyrenees, from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Roncesvalles. Then, continue your adventure from Zubiri to Burgos, through villages, landscapes and iconic heritage sites along the Camino Francés.

Take on a unique challenge that will push your limits, allow you to discover breathtaking scenery, and share unforgettable moments with other travel and hiking enthusiasts.

Why choose the Camino Francés?

  • Organization: Hostels, restaurants, signs… everything is in place to make life easier.
  • Visual diversity: Mountains, vineyards, villages, forests… endless beauty for the eyes.
  • Cultural diversity: Walkers from all over the world, with whom you’ll share unforgettable moments.
  • Choosing yourself: Taking time to walk, reflect, enjoy, admire, eat, sleep… and start again.

If you want to experience something meaningful, take a break, and reconnect with yourself, the Camino is the perfect journey for you!

Good to Know

Thousands of people walk the Camino every year and come back changed and transformed. Whether it’s the choice of accommodations, the meals provided, or the itinerary itself, this tour is carefully designed to offer everything you need to successfully complete this unique journey.

Even though the itinerary is offered as a group tour, the walking portions are done at your own pace. The group will meet at the end of each day in the various hostels to share their experiences. We recommend traveling light, as you are responsible for carrying your own luggage from village to village. For lunches, you will find several restaurant and grocery options along the way.

Once your reservation is completed, you will receive a short call from Dave Morissette to establish first contact. Afterwards, you will be invited to a video conference with the other participants to receive more information and ask your questions.

Dave Morissette

n 2016, I completed the Camino Francés by bike, from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Santiago de Compostela. At that point in my life, I deeply needed a break—to step away from a fast-paced routine, to rediscover simplicity and freedom. That is exactly what the Camino offers: following the yellow arrows, one by one, without questioning, moving forward with the rhythm of the day, leaving everyday worries behind. That journey marked a turning point in my life.

In 2017, I continued this quest by completing another stretch of the Camino, starting from Le Puy-en-Velay, discovering yet another facet of this legendary pilgrimage.

Then in 2018 came an even more powerful experience: I completed the Camino Francés again, this time with my father Allen and my two sons, Zack and Jérémy. This family journey was an unforgettable moment of connection and sharing.

In 2024, I walked the Camino Francés once more, confirming just how essential this adventure is for recharging, refocusing and reconnecting with what truly matters.

Finally, in 2025, I had the chance to fulfill one of my dreams: guiding groups on the Camino.

Why do it again and again?
The answer is simple: it is on the Camino de Compostela that I feel the most alive and free!

To my future pilgrim friends,

Congratulations on finding yourself here, on this website. Having the courage to even consider such an adventure is already a big step. My father and I want to help you take that leap into the wonderful world of the Camino de Compostela, and also give you the tools you need to make your journey as memorable as ours. This will actually be my seventh pilgrimage, as I completed the Camino in 2018 and 2024, and have also had the privilege of guiding groups.
