We often think that traveling in a group is complicated and requires a lot of organization, but in reality, it's much simpler than we might imagine...
11 friends from Trois-Rivières, who lived the experience, tell us about a vacation they will remember for a very long time!
It was during a girls' night in that they came up with the idea of a group trip down south: a week of fun and quality time together. Their only worry at that point was finding a date when 11 people (with very different schedules) could all get together for a trip...
Organization 101
Determined, the girls quickly managed to plan their vacation with the help of a travel agent. After a few weeks of research and confirmations, they finally opted for a week-long all-inclusive vacation in Montego Bay, Jamaica, a vibrant destination that truly suited them.
To simplify the booking logistics, one girl from the group was responsible for handling the arrangements with the agent. This made planning much easier. Four months after making their reservation, the friends finally flew to Jamaica for an exciting week!
Let the journey begin!
Upon arrival, our vacationers stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort Montego Bay, a large, lively hotel complex located very close to the airport. The place was colorful, friendly, and perfect for a group of girls ready to party! From the moment they arrived, the group quickly made a splash… Let's just say that 11 girls on vacation really makes a splash!
A fun week
In addition to enjoying the sea, the sun, and delicious cocktails, the girls participated throughout the week in numerous activities, such as aqua aerobics classes, volleyball, kayaking, and more, not to mention their many karaoke nights singing along to Céline Dion. A classic! The great thing about traveling in a group is that there's always someone eager to try a new activity with you!
During their trip, the young women also organized two group excursions: the first for a catamaran outing and the second to see Dunn's River Falls, a truly spectacular waterfall that is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Caribbean. In short, their week-long girls' vacation was incredibly fun!
When the 11 girls were asked what they enjoyed most about their trip, their answer was undoubtedly sharing this wonderful time together. Traveling as a group allowed them to forge even stronger bonds and experience unforgettable moments. They have very fond memories of their week in Jamaica and would be ready to go back tomorrow morning!
