Gran Muthu Rainbow Hotel, the first LGBT hotel in Cuba

2019 is a special year for Cuba! This destination is making a step forward by hosting its first LGBT hotel, which will open its doors soon. The Gran Muthu Rainbow Hotel in Cayo Guillermo is a brand new 5-star hotel complex from the MGM Muthu Hotels chain. Here are the different facilities the hotel will provide for the opening of their property in early 2020.

The hotel

Located in Playa Playuelas close to Cayo Guillermo, the Gran Muthu Rainbow is a three-storey hotel. This newly built property features 248 modern rooms, some of which are accessible to mobility impaired clients. In addition, you will find a buffet restaurant, five à la carte restaurants and three bars. A magnificent walkway is located near the beach where you can watch the most beautiful sunsets. The swimming pool also offers a breathtaking view of the sea. You won't lose sight of it!

The rooms

The 248 rooms include standard rooms and junior suites that will make your stay as comfortable as possible. Their ultra-modern decor and colorful accessories are sure to please you. You can easily take advantage of the facilities, including refrigerator, flat-screen satellite TV and carefully selected furniture. The majority of the rooms offer stunning views of the pool and ocean. For a slightly more upscale stay, two suites are also available. In addition to the basic amenities, you will be entitled to a beautiful in-room bathtub.  

Restaurants and bars

In terms of gastronomy, several options are available to you. The hotel offers five à la carte restaurants where you can eat extremely well. Whether you feel like Asian cuisine, typical Cuban dishes, a gourmet or an international meal, there is something for everyone! Tapas lovers will also be delighted by the Spanish flavors served in one of their restaurants.
