The origins of this recreational activity date back to the 1700s, when indigenous people used boards carved from tree trunks to move more quickly across the water. The goal was trade. A board and a paddle are all you need (don't forget your life jacket and other mandatory gear)! Many SUPs are inflatable, making them easy to transport. All that's left to do is find a body of water and enjoy.
The sun will be your companion as you practice your new favorite sport! An essential element for your health, you'll get plenty of vitamin D while relaxing. Remember, the sun's rays are strong, so be sure to protect your skin with sunscreen!
