Checked baggage for all-inclusive packages with Sunwing Vacations and WestJet Vacations Quebec

Starting November 25, 2025, customers booking an all-inclusive package with Sunwing Vacations and WestJet Vacations Quebec on board a WestJet flight will be entitled to the following free of charge:

- a personal article;
- a cabin bag;
- one checked bag.

This new policy applies to new bookings and existing bookings departing on or after November 25, 2025.

Have you already prepaid for your checked baggage?

Customers who prepaid their first checked bag as part of an existing reservation will receive a $100 travel credit for each round-trip bag purchased.

Your travel credits will be sent directly to your email address within the next few weeks by the Discount Travel team. No action is required on your part.

This travel credit must be applied to a new package with the same tour operator, for which WestJet is the airline, and is valid only for the person named on the credit. It is applicable to bookings made after the issue date and before the expiry date above. After the expiry date, any remaining value will be forfeited. This credit can be used for more than one new booking, provided it is valid, the person named on it travels, and the credit is used up. This credit has no cash value, is not commissionable, is non-transferable, and is not valid for group bookings.

If you have an existing reservation, but have not prepaid for your checked baggage?

Passengers who have not prepaid for their baggage will automatically have a free checked bag added to their booking.
