Exhibition about the famous Titanic

Titanic - The Artifact Exhibition has been presented at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas since 2008 and will continue to be there for a few more years, since a 10-year agreement has been signed.

This 25,000 square foot exhibit allows you to learn more about the White Star Line ocean liner, infamous for sinking off the coast of Newfoundland in 1912.

The story behind its tragically shortened voyage will be presented, as well as the stories of some of its passengers. You will be able to see personal items recovered from the cabins of ^first , ^second , and ^third- class passengers: shoes, shirts, toiletries, books, eyeglasses, and jewelry. It's hard to believe these objects spent decades at the bottom of the Atlantic.

During your visit, you will walk through a replica of the ^3rd class corridors. You too can compare the amenities between ^3rd and ^1st class, as a replica of each cabin is on display.

You will be invited to take a photo in front of the "Grand Staircase." The famous staircase (where Jack waits for Rose in front of the clock in the film!) has been recreated to scale, based on the original plans that have been found. Very impressive!

You will be able to walk on the "Promenade Deck" (outdoor deck) which is set to the cold temperature of the fateful night of April 12, 1912.

What I found most impressive? The display of an ACTUAL piece from the immense ocean liner! This piece of the hull is, to date, the largest artifact recovered from the Titanic ship graveyard. It weighs no less than 15 tons and measures 26 feet!

This fascinating exhibition attracts thousands of tourists every year. Having had the chance to see it during a recent trip to Las Vegas, I highly recommend it!
