Swimming with pigs

How about swimming with some friendly little pink pigs? Yes, yes, I'm serious.

You'll have the chance to experience this unique phenomenon in only one place in the world: the Bahamas. At "Pig Island," more officially Big Major Bay, you can see these little creatures swimming near you. They're used to humans and aren't afraid or aggressive! Searching for food, they'll come to you when you land on the beach.

But how did they get there? There are several theories about where these little pink creatures came from. The most plausible one (apart from the one about extraterrestrials leaving them there… OK, I'm kidding) says that sailors brought them as a food source. When they left the island, they left them on the beach. The pigs then reproduced and adapted to their new environment.

We've gone around with the rays, the fish, the sharks, and the dolphins. Now swim with Babe and Gordy's cousins!
