Travel Tips

Are you travelling with children or a baby and worried about forgetting something? Print this list and use it as a packing tool.

For babies, first check with the airline regarding baggage limits. Generally, children under 2 years old have no baggage allowance. However, you can bring one baby item (stroller, car seat, or playpen) and a bag for the baby's equipment on the plane.

Hand luggage

  • Toys
  • Bottle, snack and puree
  • For older people, lollipops or gum when their ears are blocked.
  • Diapers
  • Changing mat
  • Wet towels
  • The cuddly toy and the favorite pet
  • Small first aid kit
  • Change of clothes

Checked baggage

  • Baby bottles and sippy cups for the older ones
  • Baby purees and snacks for toddlers
  • Baby spoons and bowls
  • Mud flaps
  • Pajamas
  • Lightweight and comfortable clothing
  • Swimsuits and sandals
  • A few warmer pieces of clothing for cooler evenings
  • Diapers for the week…and even a little extra just in case!
  • Baby sunscreen and after-sun lotion
  • Sunglasses
  • Hat
  • Toys, stuffed animals and books (Why not take a trip to the dollar store for small beach toys, for example an inflatable ball, shovel, rake, bucket...)
  • A UV tent to protect baby from the sun at the beach or pool

With that, I wish you a wonderful family trip!
