What to do in Cozumel

Diving

You cannot stay in Cozumel without taking some time to admire its diverse marine life. Whether you prefer snorkeling or scuba diving, the Palancar Reef allows you to spot sea turtles, eagle rays, barracudas, and several colorful fish!

Mayan ruins

Several Mayan ruins in Mexico have been well preserved over time. Indeed, there is a very beautiful site on Cozumel Island: San Gervasio. History fans will love to visit this hundreds-of-years-old archaeological wonder.

Swimming with dolphins

If your dream is to swim with dolphins, you must go to the Dolphinaris. There you can swim with them, caress them and take a picture of them. You will not forget this experience!

Shops and bars

Although Cozumel is a relatively quiet island, it is still possible to shop and have a drink. The Punta Langosta Mall and Rafael Melgar Main Square are the two best places for it. From there, it is also possible to take the ferry to Playa Del Carmen. This huge tourist area, 45 minutes away by boat, is definitely worth the trip!

Golf

Golf fan? You will LOVE the Cozumel Country Club. After practicing your sport under the Caribbean sun, you can savor a delicious Mexican meal and cool off at the club's restaurant. Golf, tacos, and tequila… a true paradise!
